We all get pulled in many different directions, we become drained and struggle to find time for the things that matter most. Life goals are lost, and the daily grind takes over.
Maybe you are on deck for a “strategic withdrawal.” A time when you gift yourself a deliberate break, take a panoramic view of the world and the opportunity to regroup, think and reset life strategies.
This February 25th – March 2nd, 2024, we will step away from the repetitive routine of a high-speed lifestyle and cultivate a state of flow as we align with our inner compass and embrace the peace found in the pristine jungle of Costa Rica.
For six nights and seven days we will pull back from busyness, culture, work, social media, and technology and whatever is not working in our lives. We will choose to stop laboring on, and we will rest our mind, nourish, and strengthen our body and restore our soul.
When we rest, we make space for our mind to think and our heart to open. We discover a new path forward that reflects the most intelligent and logical solutions and aligns with our sense of a higher calling. This is the space where wisdom whispers deep in our souls and we find answers and we find ourselves.

JUNGLE RETREAT PACKAGE:
- Overnight double occupancy accommodations at Adventure Inn in San Jose on Sunday, February 25th, 2024 (https://www.adventure-inn.com/)
- Transport from San Jose airport to Adventure Inn
- Welcome meet and greet at Adventure Inn, Sunday, February 25th
- Breakfast that nourishes your body and soul, Monday, February 26th
- Comfortable, private van ride to Samasati Retreat Center (departs 6:30 am, Tuesday, February 26th from Adventure Inn, San Jose, approximately a 4–5-hour drive)
- Samasati Retreat Center accommodations (5 nights: Tuesday, February 6 – Sunday, February 11th)
- Freshly prepared locally sourced vegetarian meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
- Daily (each morning, evening) fitness, movement, guided meditation, breathwork
- Troy Talks (wellness workshops and current fitness trends)
- Personal health coaching to assess and transform health and lifestyle goals (45-minute session)
- Private access to a 200-acre jungle nature preserve exclusively for our use (hiking trails, pool, jacuzzi)

Awaken Your Soul Retreat Package

- Private Casita: $3,450 (Single with private bath, deck, and ocean view)
- Preferred Casita: $2850 (semi-private bedrooms with shared bath and deck)
- Double Occupancy Casita/ Ocean View: $2450 (two double. beds with bath and deck)
- Jungle Room: $1,850 (private rooms with shared bathroom and deck)
Available extra’s: Single Occupancy Room at Adventure Inn, Samasati Spa Treatments, Energetic Bodywork sessions, Ayurvedic Health Coaching, Adventure Excursions, Alcohol, and nightly fish/chicken entrée.
Lodging
We have 2 different types of accommodations to to suit a range of budgets and experiences:
Guest House Rooms are hostel style rooms with shared bathrooms (one for men and another for women.) and a shared terrace. Perfect for budget conscious travelers or those who are traveling with friends.
Casitas are little Caribbean style villas with their own private terrace with hammocks and set in their own little garden with views of the Rainforest or Sea or both. Some have an additional bed in a sleeping loft.
All accommodations have fans and screened ventilation allowing for fresh air and Caribbean breezes. Also there are no TVs in the rooms so the sounds, sights and magic of the Rainforest immersion is pure.
Rooms at the Samasati Guest House
Sleeps one or two people
The Guest House is situated a short walk from the restaurant and reception area. It consists of 5 adjoining private rooms with two shared bathrooms, one for men and another for women. Choose from rooms with either two Single beds or one Double bed. This Guest House is a great option for solo travelers or groups of friends looking for cozy and inexpensive accommodations.

Casitas
Sleeps two to four people
Ten wooden cottages built with wood reclaimed from the area within walking distance from the main reception and restaurant area. All have spacious verandas overlooking the Rainforest or the Caribbean Sea. Some have an additional bedroom in a lofted area above the main floor. The Casitas can accommodate two to four people. Beds are either King size, Double or Single size.
Classic Casitas
These Casitas are each in their own secluded area in the forest and have an additional lofted sleeping area. There are two Single beds on the main level and a Double bed in the loft, a private bathroom and a terrace with a hammock and is set in a little tropical garden planted with local flora.
Preferred Casita
These Casitas have windows that open to prime views of the Rainforest or the Caribbean Sea. Each of them is in it’s own secluded area in the forest and has a King bed, a private bathroom, a quiet terrace with a hammock and is set in a little tropical garden with local flora. These Casitas are ideal for couples.

Meet Kim Fawcett
Kim’s journey into the mystery of spirituality began at the age of 16 when, through the sudden death of her mother, she began to experience spiritual encounters and become intuitively aware that there was something more than just the physical life we live.
Kim’s life mission is to be a source of positive energy and enthusiasm while helping every person carve out their own spiritual path that awakens their soul and aligns them with their life purpose. Kim teaches and speaks about her experiences with spiritual truths through the lens of a professionally diverse career, and life as a wife, mother, daughter, and friend.
Kim’s career has spanned 30 years and taken her through seasons in both government and nonprofit leadership. As a state representative in Connecticut, Kim was known to be, “Your Voice for Change”. Elected at just 35 years old and one of the only women serving in the legislature with school aged children, Kim’s career has always involved navigating challenges and finding balance. As a non-profit executive Kim’s team coined the term “spirit lead professionals” in an effort to align daily with their professional callings. Leading her organization through COVID, leadership changes and a $14 million capital, Kim grew through the trials and learned to rely on her faith and spiritual practices for clarity and confidence.
Today Kim is a master’s student seeking a degree in Transformative Spirituality, and practitioner of daily yoga, prayer, and meditation as she seeks His wisdom through silence, solitude, and nature. Kim has been married to her husband Rick for 28 years and is the proud mother of three amazing adult children. One who is currently serving with the United States Peace Corps in Africa. She loves gardening, animals and the mystery of all things spiritual.
